Police Department's online crime reporting website.
In our effort to provide the community with the best possible
service, we established this feature to provide 24/7 reporting
capability for certain types of police reports. This system not only
allows you to document certain crimes and incidents from a computer, at
the date and time of your choosing, but enables us to gather valuable
intelligence and stolen property data which is often helpful in solving
cases and responding to trends in criminal activity.
This system is only intended for crimes or
incidents that occurred within the City Limits of Hercules.

Using this system allows you to submit a report immediately and print a copy of
the report free of charge. Please confirm the following to determine if filing
online is right for you:
Is the incident a non-emergency? (If not, please call 9-1-1 for assistance).
Did the incident occur within Hercules city limits?
There are no known suspects - (Note: IF YOU HAVE SUSPECT INFORMATION you CANNOT use this system).
Did the incident occur on a State Freeway?
Do you have a valid e-mail address? (e.g.: johndoe@msn.com)
Note: If you have answered “YES” to all of the above questions, you may proceed in filing your report online”.
Upon completion of the report form, the following will be displayed: “YOUR REPORT HAS BEEN SUBMITTED”. Your report is now completed.
Your report will be issued a case number
You will be able to print a copy of the report to keep for your records.

All reports filed online will be reviewed by the agency. Upon review, if further investigation of your case is needed, you may be contacted for additional information.
Filing a false police report is a crime and in violation of California Penal Code Section 148.5, which prohibits the filing of a false report of a criminal offense. DO NOT file a false police report.
